STEVEN WENDT – Performer/Devised Theater Creator/Musician, Puppeteer & Goldsmith

Creator/Performer of THIS & THAT at The Chocolate Factory Theater & HERE Arts Center (NYC 2022), Barbican PIT Theater (London 2024), Theatre Garonne (Toulouse 2026), PLATO CAVES: Screens vs Shadows (Chocolate Factory Theater 2026), Blue Man Group (Blue Man) Astor Place Theater NYC (2012-2025). Wendt also assisted in developing the 2022 Blue Man Group North American Tour, Under Influence (Jack Wheeler) feature film by Sidney Leoni (Belgium 2015), puppeteer on various commercials and web shows for Cartoon Network & WB Kids (2011). Other projects include shadow design and live foley for Open Throat at Little Island NYC (2024), The Soltanoff/Findlay Project (Center Theater Group in LA 2010), Ground to Cloud by Christine Marie at REDCAT (Disney Hall LA 2010), and Growing Up Linda by Marsian De Lellis (Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2008). Wendt is a recipient of a NYSCA 2026 Support for Artists Grant, Puppeteers of America Jim Henson Innovation Award 2023 and was nominated for a Henry Hewes Notable Effects Award 2023.
